Maybe even faster! I'd still like to know what he actually said since I have neither the manga or the anime in front of me. In a last-ditch effort to save the planet, Goku used Instant Transmission to transport himself and Cell to King Kai’s planet, where he used his own self-destruct technique to defeat Cell. So I would imagine that he could learn techniques just as fast as Goku or Tenshinhan learned the Kamehameha and Vegeta learned the kenzein. Cell also can mimic techniques of character he had never actually met such as Freeza. At least that is what is implied in the manga and anime.įor example when our heroes first sense Cell, they thought his ki seemed like a combination of their friends and enemies. In the fictional universe of Dragonball it would seem that Gero was able to "program" techniques into Cell biologically. Either that or Gero programmed them into him.Ĭell is definitely a unique character in Dragonball in that he is a genetically engineered monstrosity. His Z-Ability does make him a good bench for Green Color Counter. While some of his moves are still unique, they are not game-changing anymore due to power creep. I would say that learning a technique doesn't ingrain it in your DNA, but.maybe it does in Dragon Ball, since he knows a bunch of their techniques right off the bat. SP SSJ Goku GRN is based on the time he fought against SP PF Cell RED at the start of the Cell Games, and he’s brought along his infamous Instant Transmission Kamehameha. His Zenkai Awakening has given him a much-needed power-boost with significant improvements most notably to his Extra Arts and Main Ability/Ultimate Arts. I find it hilarious that Freeza's finisher move is just a combination of the series two butt-monkey's finishers (Yamcha's Sodiken & Kuririn Kienzen), no wonder the move backfired and made Freeza defeat himself.Bussani wrote:I don't see how mixing with Goku's cells would make him learn it. LL SP SSJ3 Goku GRN has received his long-awaited Zenkai Awakening and he has shifted the balance of the meta. Yoikominminken The technique used by Master Roshi in the. Trunks - Burning Attack, but mostly just glorified Ki Blast. Goku a cure for the incurable virus that will eventually kill him. I suppose the Energy Rings that Majin Vegeta used in filler could count. Vegeta - Has Big Bang Attack and Final Flash, but those are really just glorified Ki Blasts. Tenshinhan - Tri-Beam, Solar Flare (later borrowed by Goku & Kuririn) Kuririn - Kienzen (later borrowed by Vegeta, Eighteen, & Goku) Then I'm pretty sure Gohan and Trunks are the only one without a unique attack. I don't even count those as unique techniques, because really, what's different about them? What's the difference between the Kamehameha, Masenko, and Galick Gun? Unique attacks more along the lines of Piccolo's SBC, Goku's Genki-Dama, Krillin's Kienzan, Freeza's Death Beam/Imprisonment Ball/Death Saucer/Nova Strike, Gotenks' Kamikaze Ghosts, and Buu's Transmutation Beam. Vegetas opponent Gas just completely repurposed the original use of Instant Transmission in Dragon Ball Super to the point where it will never be the same again. There's dozens of attacks like that with the exact same function, with the only real difference being the stance when the blast is fired and, in the anime, the color. Warning Spoilers ahead for Dragon Ball Super chapter 85. Goku first charges the Kamehameha, and just before uttering the last syllable and launching. RandomGuy96 wrote:You know what, never mind, it doesn't really matter. This move used by Goku in Dragon Ball is a combination of Instant Transmission and a Super Kamehameha. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because.well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power.
